Season the tomato
Slice the tomato and lay the slices on a plate. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt and black pepper and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes while you cook the Bac'n. Before assembling, gently blot the slices with a paper towel so the sandwich stays juicy without the bread going soggy.

Cook the Bac'n
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium. Add the oil, then lay the Bac'n strips out in a single layer. Cook over medium-low for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until heated through and crisped to your liking. Transfer to a plate while you prepare the bread.
